About artCart.AI

We build the boring half of selling AI art, so you can spend your time on the interesting half.

Why it exists

Making a good AI image is the fun part, and it is genuinely getting easier. Everything after that is not. You need somewhere to keep the work, a way to offer it in half a dozen sizes and finishes, a shop that takes money, a domain, a checkout, order records, and pages a search engine can actually find.

The usual answer is three or four separate subscriptions stitched together with hope. artCart.AI is one place that does all of it, built specifically around how AI artwork is actually made and sold.

What we believe

You should not be locked to one model

Image models move fast, and the best one for a moody landscape is not the best one for a typographic poster. artCart.AI connects to Midjourney, OpenAI, Google, Black Forest Labs, Stability, Ideogram and others, and you choose per image. When something better appears, we add it rather than asking you to move.

No subscription

Monthly fees punish the months you are busy with something else. You buy credits when you generate, they do not expire, and the store keeps running whether or not you spent anything this month.

Your sales are yours

We take no commission. You set the price and keep it. We are not a marketplace competing with you for your own customers' attention — the store is yours, on your domain, with your name on it.

Nothing to install or maintain

No plugins, no hosting, no version upgrades, no security patches at eleven at night. Sign in and work.

Who it is for

Artists and illustrators adding AI to an existing practice. People who have found they are good at prompting and want to turn that into income. Photographers and designers extending a catalogue. Anyone who has sold a few prints through social media DMs and has had enough of that.

It is a working tool, not a showcase. If you want to sell one print a year it is more machinery than you need.

How we work

artCart.AI is small and independent. That means you get a person when you email support, changes ship quickly, and we are not answering to anyone whose interests differ from yours. It also means we say no to features that would spread us thin.

If something is missing that would genuinely change how you work, tell us. A good proportion of what is on the platform arrived that way.

On AI and honesty

We think AI-assisted work is legitimate art and worth selling. We also think buyers deserve to know what they are buying. Nothing here hides how the work was made, and we would encourage you to say so plainly on your About page — a growing number of buyers are looking for it specifically.

Each model provider sets its own commercial-use terms and they do change. We surface which model made which piece and encourage you to check the terms before building a product line on any one of them.
